HOW CAN YOU BECOME A Registered Nurse?

In six semesters (96 weeks), we prepare you to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), which will allow you to enter the workforce as a Registered Nurse upon successful completion and subsequent licensure.

To receive the Associate of Science in nursing degree students must successfully complete at least 72 semester credit hours of study. The 72 semester hours must include a minimum of 15 semester hours of general education courses, 9 semester hours of science courses, and 48 semester hours of required nursing courses.  Refer to other sections of this catalog for additional requirements.
