Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 Compliance

Larkin School of Nursing is committed to providing equal access to its educational programs and activities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. In accordance with these regulations, no otherwise qualified individual shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination in any program or activity of the institution on the basis of a disability.

Students who require reasonable accommodations are encouraged to disclose their disability to the Admissions Coordinator at the time of enrollment or as soon as the need for accommodations becomes known. Requests for accommodations must be supported by appropriate documentation and submitted in accordance with the timelines and procedures outlined in the Special Accommodations Guidelines. Students must complete and submit the required Special Accommodations Request Form to initiate the review process.

Larkin School of Nursing maintains facilities that are accessible to individuals with physical disabilities, including elevator service, ramps, and designated accessible parking. Restroom facilities are equipped with widened doorways and grab bars to support wheelchair accessibility and mobility needs.
